Description

The Duotone Neo 2026 is perfectly suited for down-the-line surfing, offering outstanding drift, allowing you to maximize your performance on the water with confidence.

Engineered for intuitive handling in every situation, the Neo delivers smooth power delivery and predictable control for both strapless and surf riding. Its enhanced design includes advancements that significantly improve handling, promising faster turning capabilities and exceptional relaunch performance. The reduced aspect ratio results in quicker, more responsive manoeuvres with lighter bar input, providing precise feedback in a variety of conditions.

One of the standout features of the Neo 2026 is its increased structural consistency under load. The innovative intersegment construction allows the kite to maintain its shape reliably, even in gusty or variable winds. This ensures a smoother and more composed feel without compromising agility, enabling you to ride confidently in challenging conditions.

When it comes to depowered riding, the Neo excels. Even when drifting or light wind sections, this kite maintains its shape and responsiveness, enhancing control when riding off the front foot or during slack line situations. This reliable performance gives riders the confidence to push their limits and explore new techniques.

While the Neo benefits from significant upgrades for 2026, it retains its classic handling characteristics that riders cherish. With easy steering, smooth drift, and balanced performance, the Neo stands out as a refined choice for wave enthusiasts. Step into the world of waves with the Duotone Neo 2026 and experience reliability and smoothness like never before.

Key Features:
  • Outstanding Drift - whether riding down-the-line or slacklining in offshore wind, the Neo drifts effortlessly while staying controllable and engaged.
  • Intuitive Handling - The Neo’s feedback feels natural and precise, reacting immediately to rider input with minimal effort and maximum flow.
  • Predictable Control - Even when depowered or in gusty conditions, the Neo retains shape and reactivity, ensuring consistent control in technical or turbulent moments.
  • Smooth Power Delivery - Delivers clean, steady pull through every manoeuvre or wave section, maintaining control without overpowering or stalling.
  • Outstanding Relaunch - Quick, easy, and reliable water relaunch—even in low wind or wave-packed situations makes the Neo a standout in all conditions.

Technology
Trinity-X:

Teijin is the world’s leading supplier of polyester fabrics and sail materials to marine sports. The combined creative power of Duotone Kiteboarding saw the formulation of Trinity TX. Exclusive to Duotone Kiteboarding, Trinity TX is a 3x2 canopy material, which has proven to be far superior to other canopy materials in terms of durability and dynamic performance. The 3x2 yarn combination has proven to be the best solution in performance as well as durability, overall superior to any 2x2 or 4x4 yarn solutions.

Kook Proof Connectors:

The kook proof line connection points prevent accidents by guaranteeing that you cannot accidentally connect your lines incorrectly when rigging your kite.

Fusion Strut:

This construction allows for a controlled distribution of forces between strut and leading edge. Struts are 100% connected to the leading edge with a flexible Dyneema line, which promotes higher canopy tension and a clean profile.

Double-V Pigtails:

These pigtails distribute the load of the line connections to the kite, minimizing the risk of fatigue, making the kite less prone to distortion and helps it to steer more smoothly.

Anti-Snag:

The Anti Snag webbing is preventing the lines from tangling around the tip of the kite. Waterstarts are made easier and safety is increased.

Control Bar
Duotone Trust Control Bar System:

Riders of all levels, from pros to newcomers, will all gain substantial advantages from the new Duotone Trust Bar system.

Safety - perform all moves with safety leash
Water Start - without swimming
Performance - increased performance due to wider wind range

All kites can be flown with the same bar, just the short line attached in the middle of the leading edge has to be adjusted to the different kite sizes. Instructions will be attached to all bars or upgrades.

Line Length Advisor:

Different styles of riding, different kite models or the kite size can be influencing factors that require different line length.

In order to further increase this synergy effect the 19 and 22 m lines come now on a medium bar (49 / 42 cm) and the 24 and 27m lines on a large bar (53 / 46 cm).

The bar is the riders’ first point of contact with the kite. In order to achieve a maximum in comfort of riding it is essential to match the kite and the riders’ style of riding to the correct line length.

19m (70% Handling / 30% Power)

Super fast and reactive tuning speeds, shorter lines are best for extreme freestyle and crazy kiteloops. They are also excellent for wave riding, where kite turning speed is important. Wakestyle riders like the close connection to the kite too. The disadvantage is you lose some of the low end power.

Fast and reactive turning
Extreme Freestyle, Wakestyle and Waves
Tight, super fast and hard kite loops

22m (60% Handling / 40% Power)

The favourite length for freestyle and waves! These 22m lines are still great for getting lots of speed from the kite, perfect for wave riding and freestyle. Not as extreme as the 19m lines, they still lose a bit of low end power.

Reactive turning
Fast Kite Loops
Great setup for freestyle riders
Best choice for waveriding

24m (50% Handling / 50% Power)

The best choice for an all round length, good turning speed combined with good power make 24m the perfect choice for a lot of riders. Great for freeride, waves and freestyle.

Most Versatile Length
Great for all-round freeriding
Good low end and a good turning speed
Most Versatile Length
High jumps as you can “load” the lines
The recommended size for a one bar quiver

27m (40% Handling / 60% Power)

The extra length means extra power, get a little more range out of your quiver by adding this bar with the longer lines. They are also great for jumping as you can really “load” the lines when you edge and send the kite back through the window.

Enormous Low End Power
Huge Jumps
Lots of Lift

The bar is your first point of contact with the kite, It is the connection between you and your kite and it is important to get it right. And it’s actually an easy formula: The shorter the lines, the more direct and faster the kite turns. The longer the lines, the more power you can generate out of them! Choose a Duotone Trust Bar, and choose the right line set up for your style of riding.
