When using a harness, the spreader bar can sometimes be digging into your chest giving you a very awkward feeling, especially when the kite is flying high above your head.

The soft pad sits between the spreader and your waist, reducing this nasty feeling. By using the velcro connections, simply attach the pad to the spreader bar itself.

In this way, the spreader bar pad can be used with any type of harness and the method or putting on or taking off your harness remains the same as usual.
