N-HTRS Construction:
North high-tenacity ripstop canopy material, with a lightweight and durable Dacron LE and Strut, and N-X6 reinforced TE, provides the perfect balance of weight to strength.
Griplock Carbon Boom:
North have pre-installed a lightweight, high-strength carbon boom handle with soft EVA grip for better control and less hand fatigue, reducing overall weight for faster, more reactive handling.
Comfort Knuck Guard and Tow Handle:
Larger, water-resistant, moulded-EVA knuckle guard under the more rigid front tow handle protects your fingers from abrasion when depowering. Features integrated wrist leash attachment point.
Dual Hyperflow Inflation Valves:
A separate LE valve and Strut valve, with an interlinking hose and clip, enable you to inflate the strut to a higher pressure than the leading edge, and to inflate/deflate your wing quickly.
Lightweight Bladders:
North have chosen a lightweight bladder material and strategically double-layered it in load-bearing areas such as handles, valves, nose, and wingtips for reinforcement.
Durable Light Dacron Airframe:
Strong inflated structures for less deflection, movement, and a stiffer frame. Triple-layered reinforcement in the strut-to-LE connection provides a clean, undisturbed shape under load.
Kevlar Strut Connection:
A biaxialโฏkevlarโฏlayer provides internal strength and reinforcement to the XL-T joint connection. It is bias-cut to flex around the curvature of the strut, with a tight and accurate fit.
SS316 Swivel Wrist Leash:
The Nova is supplied with an elasticized webbing wrist wing leash with swivel, for fast, safe wing retrieval. A North Wing Waist Belt and QR Board Leash can be purchased separately.
