The North Atmos Ultra is your ultimate lightweight freeride board, precisely flex-tuned for riders seeking a balance of high performance and comfort.
With the new Atmos Ultra, North had an open slate with the design parameters, so their engineers went all-in to create their dream board‚ the lightest, smoothest-riding twintip they ever made.
The 138 x 41 weighs in at a staggering 1.8kg. The weight savings does mean this board is never going to be as robust as the Atmos Hybrid or Atmos Pro (it's not designed to handle the most extreme, hard landings).

Engineered and refined for connection, comfort and performance, our Flex Bindings give you a locked-in feel and solid support. Extremely soft KnitFlex straps are fully adjustable, conforming to your whole foot with no stitching or bunching.
Triple-density rubberized EVA footbeds provide lightweight cushioning and maintain grip underfoot when wet.
Super quick three-point connection setup ensures a customised fit, and split inner velcro straps ensure maximum comfort for all foot shapes, sizes and rider styles.
Rear eyelets have an outward kick to ensure your foot never comes in contact with them on hard landings.

Ensure a custom fit on top of foot for all shapes, sizes and rider styles. Position straps wider apart for a more fixed feel, closer together for easy board offs.

The ultra-lightweight dual-density foam core minimises weight while maintaining strength in high-load areas. Higher-density foam reinforcement under the heels prevents core crush.
M6 x 16mm Industry standard, super strong inserts. The same 16mm screws are used for fins, handle and foot straps.
A Y-shaped Paulownia Wood core reinforcement helps to absorb impact. It runs in the direction of the load path to efficiently transfer the load from your bindings to the edge.
The Ultra-carbon construction uses five different forms of carbon in two different moduli, so stiffness is optimum in some areas, while a little flex elsewhere is an asset.
The arrangement, thickness and orientation of the fibers in the engineered carbon layup give the Ultra a similar flex to the Atmos, resulting in a smoother, more shock-absorbent ride.
North exclusive 3DY Carbon Unidirectional tape with High Modulus Carbon reinforcement is run in the direction of the load paths, transferring the load from your bindings to the edge efficiently.
