The newly 3D-shaped Paulownia wood core is fully wrapped in Cartan Triax – a high-performance carbon laminate reinforced with unidirectional fibers that unlock lightning-fast response and dynamic feel.

Fusing cutting-edge materials with a fully integrated 3D shape, the Fusion 7 delivers explosive pop, precise control, and feather-soft landings.

3D Modelled Wood Core:

For the first time, the Fusion 7’s Paulownia core is fully 3D-pressed – including channels, concaves, and a new tip layout. This innovative CAD-based process enables smooth transitions between rocker, outline, and base contours. The result: increased grip, less drag, and superior flow in both upwind and takeoff phases. Manufacturing energy consumption was also reduced by up to 30% depending on board size.

Centre Bulge:

Inspired by the “bulbous bow” of modern shipbuilding, the Fusion 7’s wide centre keel reduces surface tension, softens chop landings, and enhances water flow. Combined with curved channels at the tips, a venturi effect is created, minimizing drag, improving acceleration, and lending the Fusion 7 its lively, agile character.

Unibody Edge Light:

With the Unibody Edge Light technology, the Paulownia core is completely wrapped in Cartan carbon before the ABS rails are attached. This creates a torsion box that amplifies rebound and stability, delivering more pop, better edge grip, and direct control – no matter your riding style.

Cartan Triax Carbon:

The dual strap design features effortless pitch, longitudinal and height adjustments to support your foot perfectly. Core have lined the strap interior with padded neoprene while protecting the exterior with durable synthetic leather.

Core EQ Fin Set:

Developed, tested and refined over three years. The completely redesigned CORE EQ fin not only looks exceptional, it performs exceptionally. With a wide fin base resembling a beluga forehead, it effectively prevents water from being sucked in.

Unlike standard fins, the grip level of EQ fins remains consistent as speed increases, offering a distinct advantage. This feature noticeably facilitates easier release even at full speed, allowing for smoother switching. Additionally, the rounded transition between the fin and board minimizes drag, which occurs when two surfaces meet.

The EQ fin is also designed to be lightweight, weighing approximately 30 percent less than the Equalizer fin, thanks to its hollow interior. The rough surface is not just an unclean finish, but the technical icing on the cake: in turbulent currents, the precisely defined roughness minimizes suction and increases manoeuverability.

Paulownia Light Wood Core:

Hand-selected low-density Paulownia strips create a featherlight yet stiff wood core. Less weight means better handling and quicker response, all without sacrificing strength or durability.
