Description

The Airush Union V6 delivers incredible lift and hang time when going for big air, along with quicker, lighter, and ultra-responsive steering. Ideal for the user looking for increased jumping performance and quicker depower response, and for the freestyle rider wanting unhooked performance with the usability of increased depower and a more forgiving feel.

A new wing-tip design prevents back stalling while the increased linear power delivery has made it even more suitable for freeriding, freestyle and wave riders alike.

The Airush Union can be seen as the natural step up for the Lithium user looking for increased jumping performance and quicker depower response, or for the freestyle rider wanting unhooked performance with the usability of increased depower and a more forgiving feel. For a more direct response and totally fresh feel, the new fixed bridle adds another dimension for an intermediate to advanced rider. It offers a direct response and uses less bar input for immediate steering and more crisp feel for improved kite looping.

The Airush Union is like an extension of your arm. Within a matter of minutes you can be are focused 100% on what you are doing! No matter if you are just starting out, pulling off your first kite loop or letting the kite drift on your first overhead wave, you don't need to keep an eye on it - you just ride as you can feel where the kite is all of the time.

Part of the Union characteristics comes from the bar feedback, it's neutral nature (no constant asymmetric bar pressure to keep it tracking straight) - but also from high levels of power through corners and progressive speed of turn. Small inputs can bring small and precise course changes, but large inputs will hook it round a wingtip for that perfect megaloop you have always wanted. It's a super efficient, reactive and a precise weapon that delivers linear power everywhere it goes.

The next generation Dyneema Load Frame takes the Union to a whole new level when combined with the Technoforce D2 by Teijin, for the ultimate mix of durability and lightweight performance.

An easy to use, reliable Aero cleat depower system with a tool-less position adjustment allows for the bar to be quickly and simply set up for riders with shorter reach. The durable EVA injected bar end floats are flexible for an overall better kite response and offer increased buoyancy.

Paired with any 4-line kite, the 24m flying lines, ISO 21853 aligned Airush IQR, and one-handed release and reset system complies with IKO and BKSA teaching standards with the Low-Y on the centre lines, allowing for a quick single line flag out.

Airush Load Frame:

The Airush Load Frame featuring WebTech has been the key to setting the ultimate benchmark in durability, without compromising on weight.

By expanding our exclusive Load Frame with WebTech throughout the areas normally occupied by Dacron, we are able to minimize or completely remove the heavier fabric and utilize the Ballistic high-modulus polyethylene web fibers instead – increasing strength and minimizing weight.

High Modulus Yarns:

Central to the concept of the Load Frame are the lightweight Ultra High Modulus yarns, of which each single yarn can carry 40kg. Think of them as a lightweight web with engineered energy absorption under load, similar to a spider web.

These yarns are integrated into the canopy through reinforced taping that allows them to elongate when under extreme load, absorbing most of the shock that traditionally would have run through the canopy. At the same time, they carry the primary load of the canopy, preventing stretch and increasing long-term performance.

Technoforce D2:

This premium fabric is designed with a high-density structure using high tenacity double-coated polyester yarn in a double ripstop configuration. The double coating protects the yarn as much as possible from UV and abrasion damage. This ensures that the canopy remains as crisp and responsive for as long as possible.

This exceptional material is used in conjunction with the Airush Load Frame, resulting in the ultimate combination of durability and performance.

XL Inflate / Deflate Valve:

The XL inflate/deflate valve features an insanely easy and fast way to inflate and deflate your kite.

The large opening creates maximum flow of air and reduces fatigue and stress on your pump.

This in conjunction with the Airush high-velocity pump makes inflating your kite extremely fast to get you on the water as quickly as possible.

Airush Bumpers:

Airush bumpers are found throughout the leading edge of the kites to reduce wear and increase durability on rough surfaces.

These bumpers are key for increasing the lifespan of Airush kites.

Kevlar Reinforcement:

Kevlar, found in bulletproof vests, is found throughout the Airush kites.

These Kevlar reinforcements are only put in the most critical areas to protect from wear and tear while still minimizing weight that affects the kites performance.

SPS and FBI:

The oversized SPS valve (Single Point Inflation System) optimizes inflation and deflation.

The Fast Bladder Inflation (FBI) features increased wall thickness and oversized diameter tubing, thus eliminating tube kink, reducing stress on your pump, and enabling quick and easy inflation.

The SPS cover supports the tubing, further limiting UV damage to the material and preventing over flexing when packing.
