The Slingshot Luna stops smaller riders, compromising and sacrificing no more! The all-new Luna has been designed specifically for the smaller, lighter rider.

Borrowing DNA from the iconic Misfit, the narrow-bodied LUNA has the tech and performance you demand from a freeride twin tip—in a design dialed for lighter riders.

Tthe Luna is a beginner/intermediate shape that has been optimized for the smaller, lighter kiteboarder. Available in a 129 & 133cm size, the Luna is loaded with performance features, including famously lively Atomic Wood Core, NACA Tech Channels and Single Concave Hull.

The Luna’s narrow body provides better tracking and makes it easier to hold down power for riders who need a little added leverage. The Luna is an extremely smooth and forgiving twin tip with plenty of light-rider performance for learning your first back rolls and board-offs, or even unhooking.

Slingshot Dually Pad System:

The Dually pad and strap system includes an advanced dual density ergonomic pad. The new footstrap offers dual zonal technology with 4x4 micro adjustability. Micro adjustment can be used to customize the fore and aft positioning at 4 different points.

The Dually also offers 4 vertical points of adjustment for a customized fit to the contour of your foot.

The possibilities for a custom fit are controlled exclusively by the rider for maximum comfort and control. In addition the Dually includes our new bolt-on baseplate.

It mounts easily to your board and offers limitless duck and stance options.

Technology

Continuous Rocker:

Smooth, consistent curve provides a fast ride, predictable pop, great carving performance and disperses water to soften landings.

Vertically laminated wood core:

Sustainably grown Paulownia gives the lively, springy character that Slingshot boards are famous for. Vertically laminated construction harnesses the collective strength of the wood’s grain and provides strength, durability and consistent flex over the life of the board.

Dura Light Base:

This 0.2mm base material is the ideal strength to weight ratio. Lightweight performance in a strong and durable package.

Naca Channels:

Precision laser cut parabolic channels direct water like a vacuum from the middle of the board through the tail. This directed water accelerates through the channel and increases the board speed and grip to the water. This provides the rider with better board speed and traction when riding.

Carbon Bedrock Inserts:

Light, flexible and durable inserts that maintain the board’s flex underfoot for a consistent feel from tip to tail.

Urethane Sidewalls:

Transferring the same technology found in high durometer urethane skateboard wheels into the rail of all our boards. Our innovative manufacturing process literally infuses the rail into the board cores in one single shot, producing unrivaled dampening and durability.

Construction:

Slingshot twin tips are hand crafted out of all wood cores. We use sustainably grown Paulownia, which gives the lively, springy character that Slingshot boards are famous for. The vertically laminated construction harnesses the collect strength of the wood’s grain and provides strength, durability and consistent flex over the life of the board.

As an added layer of protection, we finish every board with a full urethane rail to protect from inevitable mishaps and impacts with hard objects. We’ve added vibrant urethan colors give the visual pop distinct to Slingshot.
