Technology

Streamlined Lightweight Construction:

Constructed from state-of-the-art, lightweight materials to obtain an optimal power-to-weight ratio. The high-strength sail is a triple-ripstop 34 g/m² TX-Light, and the leading edge features a very durable 44 g/m² DLX+ fabric that protects against abrasion.

All Sonic components are designed for maximum performance on any terrain. The streamlined construction ensures that the kite remains agile and highly maneuverable while maintaining peak performance.

Performance Tuner:

The performance tuner is a knot ladder integrated into the C-pulley line to modify the camber of the kite. Moving the Z-Main Line affects the bar forces and performance of the kite. Shortening increases low-end power and steering/holding forces. Lengthening does the opposite, decreasing brake line tension and steering/holding power.

With adjustable settings for the brake lines, power delivery, and depower, you can optimize, based on wind conditions and personal preferences, to unlock the kite’s maximum potential.

Bridle Check System:

The bridle check tool makes it easier to compare the bridle line lengths. At each level (A, B, C, Z), on each wing side of the foil kite, black markings make comparing front and back main line lengths easy (see line plan).

To restore the flight characteristics, length differences between B and C levels relative to A level must be annulled by moving the rings on the mixer. To maintain performance and stability, we recommend regularly checking using the bridle check tool, if the product is used intensively.

Profile Momentum Adjuster:

The PMAs are knot ladders that are sewn onto the profile in inside the foil kite. They sit on the upper and lower sail between the A and B levels. By shortening the knot ladders, the profile camber can be adjusted, which gives the foil kite more performance or stability. If a change is made, it should be made symmetrically.

Control Bar

Flysurfer Infinity XX Control Bar:

The 4-line Infinity xx control bar precisely transmits your steering inputs! The slim and solid bar stick with compact winders gives you excellent feedback. The Infinity bar slides along a 52cm long PU-covered depower throw and activates the automatic swivel function when powering up with minimal force. Trim options are provided by the Clam Cleat adjuster and the knot positions located under the EVA floaters to adjust the 17 + 3m long lines.

Safety is assured by our proven QR 3.0 and frontline flag-out safety system (FLS). Focusing on longevity to give ambitious freeriders a functional performance package. The Infinity Bar complements Flysurfer's foil kite range and lends itself to those who love hangtime and endless rotations.

Quick Release Loop:

A bar is only as good as its quick release. Together with the Flysurfer Infinity 3.0 Control Bar, Flysurfer introduce their new Infinity 3.0 Quick Release. At first glance you can only imagine how brilliant this component really is. First of all, it fulfills the French safety norms to perfection, which only very few kiting quick releases do. The force needed to release the QR is minimal in relation to the load. Even with 400 kilograms of load, the release force remains under ten dekanewtons (similar to kilograms). The Quick Release design is optimized to be resistant against snow, sand, dirt and small rocks, as much as possible. But that is still not all. Flysurfer focused on the smallest of details. There is no metal parts at the end of the loop that can become tangled behind the harness hook. The system is intuitive and can be reset easily and quickly. In addition, Flysurfer made sure that you can release dependably, even when wearing thick gloves. Disruptive or dangerous accidental releases are practically eliminated. A heavy component? Hardly. The Infinity 3.0 Quick Release loop weighs only 157 grams and offers the most compact construction of all chicken loops with a comparable range of functions.

Chickenstick:

On the Infinity 3.0 Control Bar, Flysurfer have replaced the Chickendick with another of their innovations: the Chickenstick.

While most Chickendicks get stiff in low temperatures and barely work, the Chickenstick is stiff from the start and can be attached to the harness hook quickly and easily with the help of an elastic connection.

Broken Chickendicks or accidental releasing is basically eliminated with this Chickendick.

Double V-Shaped Eyelet:

Only a few bars can completely untwist, A special construction allows the Flysurfer Infinity 3.0 QR to swivel even more smoothly than ever, without being susceptible to rusting or blocking when exposed to sand, dirt, ice or salt.

The new Double V shaped Eyelet leads the depower lines vertically through the bar. This improves comfort and handling when holding the bar for one-handed flying and unhooked tricks. Flysurfer thought of more, too. The depowerloop ‘locks’ when unhooking and doesn’t dangle around. For real wake-style purists, you also have the option to make the depowerloop bigger. And so that no wish remains unfulfilled, each Infinity 3.0 Control Bar has the option to use a “Releasable Suicide HP-Mode”.

Adjustable Stopper Ball:

This is Flysurfer's first bar with a quickly adjustable stopperball, which we recommend, above all, for advanced riders and constant winds. This is a luxury that Flysurfer no longer want to go without. If you are surprised by a gust, you can still push the stopper up, together with the bar. You can also adjust the bar width on the winders at any time. Finally Flysurfer have also slightly revised the trimmer making it more precise and more user-friendly. The control bar remains clean and clearly laid out, despite a multitude of functions.
